Ask John: Any More Ninja Resurrection?

I have two questions about Ninja Resurrection. Is there more Ninja Resurrection then just the two episodes that were released? Is Ninja Resurrection related to Ninja Scroll at all?

Answer:
The two volumes of Makai Tenshou (Ninja Resurrection) released in the US were released in Japan over two years ago. Since then, there have been no new episodes released in Japan. You may be able to hold out some hope though. This show is produced by the same staff that made Giant Robo. This studio averaged only about one new episode of Giant Robo released per year in Japan.

There is no relation between Makai Tenshou and Jubei Nin Pocho (Ninja Scroll). The commonality between both protagonists having the name Jubei is merely co-incidence. The two anime series are totally separate continuities.
