Arata TV Anime Announced

Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine has announced that Satelight will produce an anime TV series adaptation of Yuu Watase’s fantasy adventure manga Arata Kangatari for Japanese broadcast next summer. Viz currently publishes the manga in English under the title Arata: The Legend. Yuu Watase’s manga hasn’t had an anime adaptation since the 2000 Ayashi no Ceres TV series and 2001 Fushigi Yugi Eikoden OVA series.
