AnimEigo Announcements from Anime Expo

Coastal Carolina Studios is currently at work on dubbing the 51 episode You’re Under Arrest TV series. It will be released exclusively to DVD at 4 episodes per disc. A slightly re-edited version of the original 4 OAVs were used as the first 4 TV episodes, so AnimEigo will possibly release both the original OAV version and the subtly altered TV version OAV episodes on the first YUA TV series DVD.

Kimagure Orange Road will be an AnimEigo exclusive preorder, with the retail version DVDs coming out 6-9 months later.

The subtitled only uncut DVD release of the Macross TV series is now scheduled for September.

The second Vampire Princess Miyu DVD should be out soon. The second pre-order exclusive Urusei Yatsura TV series DVD boxed set is shipping now and the third TV series DVD box will ship within 2 months. There will be some delay in Urusei Yatsura after the release of the third TV series boxed set during which AnimEigo will work on the Lum movies & OAVs DVD box and DVD treatment of some of their other titles.
