Anime Expo Announces New Guests

Anime Expo has announced that famous Akihabara street performer, singer and celebrity Halko Momoi will attend the convention as a guest of honor. Anime fans may be most familiar with Momoi as the vocalist of Under17, which performed theme songs for anime including Genshiken and DearS.

Also attending the convention as a guest of honor will be J-pop vocalist Chiaki Ishikawa. As half of the Japanese musical group See-Saw, Ishikawa performed anime theme songs for series including .Hack, Noir, and Gundam Seed. Ishikawa’s also sang the opening and ending theme songs for the current Bokurano anime television series.
