Anime Expo Announcements

Anime Expo has announced that Kazuki Akane will be attending as a Guest of Honor. Kazuki Akane was the director of the television series Vision of Escaflowne, and has also just completed work on the movie Escaflowne: A Girl in Gaia which will be premiering at Anime Expo. Akane also worked on Macross Dynamite 7 & Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory.

Miramax has donated one book and three posters from Princess Mononoke autographed by Neil Gaiman and Billy Crudup to be used in the SPJA charity auction at Anime Expo.
