Apparently Media Blasters began shipping re-mastered replacement copies of Rurouni Kenshin TV series DVD 1 to consumers that returned their defective discs to the company by mail over the past several months. First edition copies of the first volume DVD had audio flaws in the Japanese language track that appeared very obviously in some DVD players. New copies of this DVD have the audio flaw corrected.

Central Park Media has confirmed that the DVD release of the Patlabor TV series will be bilingual. The VHS release was subtitled only. According to early information, sales of the initial TV series DVD will determine whether or not CPM will release more Patlabor on bilingual DVD.

Urban Vision has announced a DVD version of the Golgo 13 OAV “Queen Bee” for April 17th. The disc will feature remastered Dolby 5.1 surround sound for both the dubbed and Japanese language audio tracks and an English language running audio commentary track featuring director Osamu Dezaki and executive producer Mataichiro Yamamoto.
