Anime Dancing Coming to America

Tecmo has announced that they will be bringing the Playstation 2 dancing simulation game Unison: Rebels of Rhythm and Dance to the US in March for a retail price of $49.95. The game will feature both contemporary and retro disco J-pop and American songs and CG rendered 3D characters that look more like anime characters than any other original (as opposed to actual anime-based dancing games such as the one for Oja Majo Doremi) dancing/rhythm game on the market. Also different than games like Bust A Move and Space Channel 5 is that the actual gameplay in Unison features no visual cues for the player whatsoever. Players must master the dance steps in training mode before performing them “live.”
