Animated Kabuki Still On

Despite the recent closing of 20th Century Fox’s 6-year-old animation facility in Phoenix, Arizona due to the poor box office results of Titan A.E., David Mack’s Kabuki animated feature is to continue. Comics Continnum and the Kabuki Message Board assure fans that David Mack’s dealings were in no way connected to the animation studio in question. Catherine Winder will be producing Kabuki. Her credits include Aeon Flux and Spawn. Fox has began work on an animated movie based on the American comic Kabuki by David Mack. The story, set in metropolitan Japan, is about a woman known as Kabuki who is a former agent of Noh, an organization created to balance the growing ties between the Japanese government and organized crime, who was captured by a rival organization and reprogrammed to kill other agents of Noh.
