Animal Crossing Movie Announced

The Sports Hoichi newspaper has reported that Jouji Shimura (Master Keaton, Shin Angyo Onshi, Hanada Shonen Shi) will direct an anime feature film adaptation of Nintendo’s game franchise Doubutsu no Mori (“Animal Forest”), known in America as “Animal Crossing.” The film is scheduled to open in Japanese theaters this December.
