American Lupin Live Action Film in the Works

Yahoo! Movies reports that Gerald R. Molen, producer of the Oscar-winning “Schindler’s List,” has acquired the rights to produce a live action adaptation of Lupin the 3rd directly from Lupin creator Monkey Punch. Kazuhiko Kato, better known as Monkey Punch, reportedly insisted that all five standard Lupin cast members appear in the Hollywood film, but otherwise will leave creative control up to the film’s American producers.
