Akira Ifukube Dies

Mr. Akira Ifukube, Godzilla series music composer, passed away on the 8th due to multiple organ failure. Ifukube was 91. The influential musician and teacher was named a Person of Cultural Merit in 2003, one of Japan’s highest national honors.
