ADV to Distribute for Sentai Filmworks

ADV Films has revealed plans to localize and distribute 7 anime titles on behalf a new partner company, Sentai Filmworks.

The 24 episode Clannad television series will be released on 6 individual DVD volumes beginning April 21, 2009. ADV announced plans to distribute the Clannad anime last month.

The Indian Summer OVA Collection (Koharu Biyori), originally announced by ADV last August, will be released on March 10th, 2009.

The Mahoromatic television series and its sequel, Mahoromatic: Something More Beautiful, previously released in America by Geneon, will be re-released in complete series sets on January 13th and February 17th respectively. Both sets will retail at $44.98.

The Tsukihime television series, also previously distributed in America by Geneon, will be re-released through ADV on January 20th.

ADV will also re-release Urban Vision’s 2001 DVD release of the 4 episode Pet Shop of Horrors television series, and Media Blasters’ 2001 DVD release of the 3 episode Jewel BEM Hunter Lime OVA series.
