ADV Talks Newtype and Excel Dubbing

Matt Greenfield, dubbing director for AD Vision’s translation of Excel Saga, has published AD Vision’s first official statement on voice actress Jessica Calvello’s decision to depart the role of Excel after completing the first 3 of 6 volumes of Excel Saga for concerns about damaging her voice.

AD Vision has also published its first official press release confirming the publication of an American version of Newtype Magazine. According to the announcement, the English language version of Newtype will be similar to the Japanese version, but not a direct translation of the monthly Japanese publication.
