AD Vision Clarifies Robotech DVD Announcement

AD Vision has issued a press release officially announcing the debut of Robotech on DVD. Macross Saga DVD volumes 1, 2 and a “Robotech Legacy” boxed set will all be released on June 19th. The regular TV episode DVD volumes will each contain 6 episodes and retail at $14.98 each. The boxed set will contain both 150 minute TV episode discs plus a third 75 minute long “bonus” disc that will include the pilot “Codename: Robotech” edit of episode 1, an audio commentary track by writer/producer Carl Macek, production sketch art and clips of Robotech dubbed in French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. The 3 disc boxed set will retail for the price of three regular discs, $44.98.
