AD Vision Announcements

AD Vision has announced that they have licensed the action anime series B’tX. The title is an abbreviation of “Robotix.” The series, based on manga by Masami Kuramada, better known as the creator of St. Seiya, broadcast 26 TV episodes in 1996 and was followed by the 14 episode B’tX Neo OAV series in 1997.

ADV has announced that they will allow their official distributor, Right Stuf International, to be the exclusive retailer of the empty Evangelion Perfect Collection DVD slipcase, and the Evangelion Perfect Collection DVD slipcase with remastered Evangelion DVD 1. The tentative DVD case, of the same style as the Love Hina DVD box that retails for an additional $4.99 with Bandai’s first Love Hina DVD bonus set, will sell for $14.99. The box with remastered DVD 1 will retail for $38.99, making the average cost of the first disc alone $24 instead of the $21.25 cost per disc when buying the whole 8 disc set, (or $19.38 per disc in the full 8 disc set assuming a $14.99 cost on the box).
