Sentai Acquires KonoDan OVA

Sentai Filmworks has acquired the domestic distribution rights to independent animator Soubi Yamamoto’s original OVA Kono Danshi, Uchuujin to Tatakaemasu (This Boy Can Fight Aliens). The heavily visually stylized, dialogue-heavy sci-fi comedy was released with English subtitles on Japanese DVD last November.

A second “KonoDan” OVA titled “Kono Danshi, Ningyo Hiroimashita” (This Boy Has Picked Up a Merman) is now in development.
