4Kids Revenue Down

4Kids Entertainment has revealed that its third quarter finances have continued to decline since last year. CEO Al Kahn stated that declines in 4Kids revenue are due to, “Softer sales of licensed merchandise and home videos and reduced broadcast sales of our Yu-Gi-Oh! and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles properties.” However, licensing revenue for the One Piece animation is up, as are ratings for Magical DoReMi. 4Kids also expects the new Cartoon Network broadcast of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX to renew interest in the franchise.
