20th Anniversary Sailor Moon Anime Announced

The idol group Momoiro Clover Z, which performed the “Moonlight Densetsu” for the 1992 Sailor Moon TV series, publicly announced last Friday that it will provide the theme song for a new 2013 Sailor Moon anime. The animation will not be a feature film and will be tentatively released worldwide simultaneously. While Kotono Mitsuishi and Tohru Furuya, the voices of Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen in the original anime, were present at the announcement, their participation in the new anime has not been determined yet.
