2003 Waterloo Festival for Animated Cinema Coming Soon

The third Waterloo Festival for Animated Cinema (WFAC), a film festival dedicated to animated feature films, will be held on April 23-26, 2003 in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.

Following the success of the first two festivals, the 2003 WFAC returns with a greatly expanded programme, featuring animated feature films from around the world. In addition to premieres and award-winning entries from other prestigious film festivals, the WFAC will present a retrospective programme of animated feature films from Japan that demonstrate the versatility and power of animation in moviemaking.˜

All films will be screened in the venues these works of art are meant to be seen in: in a theatre, on film, with digital sound. Screenings will be held at the Galaxy Cinemas at Conestoga Mall (550 King Street North, Waterloo, Ontario) and at the Princess Cinema (6 Princess Street West, Waterloo, Ontario).
