Madhouse Developing Hells Angels Anime
The June issue of Newtype Magazine (page 60) reveals that Madhouse is now developing its long delayed anime adaptation of Hiromoto Sin-Ichi & Yasushi Nirasawa’s 2003 comedy/horror/adventure manga series Hells Angels. Madhouse first revealed plans to produce an anime version of Hells Angels in 2005. The Madhouse homepage reveals that the Hells Angels anime will be OVA format.
More great news! I’ve been looking forward to this literally for years.

The title is an obvious reference to the infamous motorcycle gang dispersed through the US and Canada. Is the group notourious enough to be known through out Japan?
