Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls Second Series Announced

The advertising obi found on new copies of the twelfth volume of Akira Suzuki’s Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls novel series formally announces the development of a second Samurai Girls anime television series. The Hobby Japan produced original alternate-history fantasy action series received a 12-episode anime TV series in 2010.

I didn’t think that the first series necessarily needed a sequel, but since it was a marginally better than expected show, more of it isn’t unwelcome.
