Discotek Acquires Live-Action Yatterman Movie
Discotek has acquired the domestic translation & distribution rights to the 2009 live-action Yatterman motion picture. Director Takeshi Miike’s live-action film is based on Tatsunoko’s popular Time Bokan Series: Yatterman anime television series from 1977. The sci-fi/action/comedy film will hit American home video next year.
Not a bad film, but its climax is weak and over-long.
