Comcast, the nation&#8217;s leading cable TV provider, is apparently considering either supplementing or replacing The Anime Network with Sony&#8217;s Animax anime network, which Nelson refers to as a &#8220;so-far phantom network&#8221; although Animax has been available in Japan for years and is now available in South America, and several parts of Asia. Japan&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.animax.co.jp\/\" target=\"_blank\">Animax Network<\/a> currently airs a wide variety of current and vintage anime including Aishiteruze Baby, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Monster, Otogizoushi, Dr. Slump, Gankutsuou, and Space Adventure Cobra.
