According to the survey of 10,000 Japanese adults, the most popular male anime characters were:<\/p>\n<p>1. Lupin III (Lupin III)<br \/>\n2. Char Aznable (Kido Senshi Gundam)<br \/>\n3. Doraemon (Doraemon)<br \/>\n4. Conan (Meitantei Conan)<br \/>\n5. Joe Yabuki (Ashita no Joe)<\/p>\n<p>The most popular female characters were<\/p>\n<p>1. Nausicaa (Kaze no Tani no Nausicaa)<br \/>\n2. Minami Asakura (Touch)<br \/>\n3. Fujiko Mine (Lupin III)<br \/>\n4. Lum (Urusei Yatsura)<br \/>\n5. Kyoko Otonashi (Maison Ikkoku)<\/p>\n<p>The article also included the results to the question &#8220;Which anime character would you most like to be?&#8221;, with Lupin and Fujiko taking first place and Minami Asakura and Doraemon taking second.
