The film adaptation of manga by Yu Koyama is directed by Ryuhei Kitamura. The official website and trailer reveal that female ninja Azumi carries a sword very reminiscent of the one used by KSC2-303 in Ryuhei Kitamura&#8217;s cult hit film Versus. The trailer also suggests that Azumi will feature the same sort of hyper-kinetic and bloody action typical of Versus.
