The US release will retain the original Japanese letterboxed aspect ratio and include the first 4 of 13 episodes. According to the press release, the premier volume will feature a holographic foil cover and first editions will include a pair of limited edition holographic foil trading cards. It&#8217;s not made clear if the trading card bonus will be a DVD exclusive or come with both VHS and DVD versions. The DVD will retail for $29.98, and the VHS $24.98.<\/p>\n<p>Vandread, from late 2000, is a full digital animation sci-fi\/action\/comedy set in a future when men and women live on different planets and the origins of humankind on Earth is merely a legend. When three men are taken prisoner by a crew of rogue female pirates, 100 beautiful girls have to learn to live with and fight beside 3 men when a mysterious new enemy appears.
