This year I&#8217;ll be hosting four audio-visual lecture panels:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Defining the golden age of anime<\/li>\n<li>Identifying commonly overlooked examples of Japanese culture within anime<\/li>\n<li>Presenting samples of recent advertising &#038; promotional anime shorts<\/li>\n<li>Presenting a selection of anime based on unique and unusual ideas (including but far from limited to yo-yo competition anime, karaoke battle anime, horse racing anime, and even an anime about poop fairies)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I expect to also sit in on other panel presentations both as a presenter and as an attendee, and also possibly host some anime trivia.
