A local friend and member of my anime fan club that folded ten years ago surprised me this week when he donated a chunk of his collection to me. He finally decided that he wanted to pare down his collection to just vinyl Godzilla monster figures, so he passed along a selection of books, toys, model kits, and production cels to me and another close friend\/former club member.<\/p>\n


\nMost of the spacecraft and mecha model kits went to the “other guy,” but I ended up with the “gal” kits.<\/p>\n

Wow! A resin set of KO Seiki Beast Sanjushi heroes! (Bottom right corner)<\/p>\n

Some of the garage kits appear to be bootlegs and recasts. Considering how long ago these were purchased, I lay no blame.<\/p>\n

I was very thrilled to add this Queen Emeraldas figure set to my collection.<\/p>\n

And this vintage Uchuu Senkan Yamato LCD game is definitely one of the neatest, most unusual anime items to come into my collection recently.<\/p>\n
