Summer Days with Coo &#038; Colorful director Keiichi Hara will direct &#8220;Miss Hokusai,&#8221; a biographical film about famous painter Katsushika Hokusai&#8217;s third daughter, who spent her life assisting her father and sometimes even painting the art that was credited to &#8220;Hokusai.&#8221; Colorful screenwriter Miho Maruo is writing the film. Denno Coil chief animation director Yoshimi Itazu will serve as the film&#8217;s animation director. A Letter to Momo &#038; Wolf Children art director Hiroshi Ohno will supervise the film&#8217;s background art. Award-winning manga creator Hinako Sugiura serialized her Sarusuberi manga from 1983 to 1987.
