Yamamoto&#8217;s Ginga Senpu Braiger (&#8220;Galaxy Cyclone Braiger&#8221;) was loosely inspired by &#8220;Hissatsu&#8221; live-action samurai movie franchise and aired from 1981-1982.  The Ginga Reppu Baxingar (&#8220;Galactic Gale Baxinger&#8221;) sci-fi adventure series loosely inspired by Japan&#8217;s historical Shinsengumi aired from 1982-1983. The Ginga Shippu Sasuraiger (&#8220;Galactic Whirlwind Sasuraiger&#8221;) series loosely inspired by Jules Verne&#8217;s novel <i>Around the World in 80 Days<\/i> aired from 1983-1984.
