Each of the four studios selected to participate in the 2014 campaign will receive a grant of 38 million yen ($380,000 USD) to create an original short anime film. The productions will be created by novice professional animators under the tutelage of veteran producers &#038; directors.<\/p>\n<p>Director Yasuhiro Yoshiura (Eve no Jikan, Sakasama no Patema) will direct &#8220;Harmonie&#8221; at studio Ultra Super Pictures.<\/p>\n<p>Director Ayumu Watanabe (Uchuu Kyodai, Danchi Tomoo) will direct &#8220;Okii Ichinensei to Chiisana Ninensei&#8221; (The Big First-Grader and the Small Second-Grader) at studio A-1 Pictures.<\/p>\n<p>Porfy no Nagai Tabi and Doraemon episode director Kazuaki Imai will direct &#8220;Paroru no Miraijima&#8221; (Paroru&#8217;s Future Island) at studio Shinei Animation.<\/p>\n<p>King of Thorn &#038; Psycho-Pass animation director Naoyuki Onda will direct &#8220;Kuro no Su -Chronus-&#8221; at studio 4&deg;C.<\/p>\n<p>The four shorts will be screened theatrically in limited Japanese release beginning March 1, 2014 before being broadcast on Japanese television.<\/p>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.animenewsnetwork.com\/news\/2013-12-05\/anime-mirai-2014-1st-trailer-posted-with-footage\" target=\"_blank\">Anime News Network<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Japan Animation Creators Association &#038; Japanese government&#8217;s Agency for Cultural Affairs&#8217; collaborative annual &#8220;Anime Mirai&#8221; young animator training project has released a teaser trailer revealing its four sponsored 2014 productions.
