Hiroshi Nagahama and Yoshihiko Umakoshi who directed and charater designed the acclaimed 2005 anime TV series will reunite at studio Artland to produce the Mushishi Tokubetsu-hen: Hihamukage (Mushishi Special: Sun-Eating Shade) special that will air on January 4. Urushibara&#8217;s two-chapter supplemental story will be published in the January and February issues of Kodansha&#8217;s Afternoon magazine.
