Although Anime Village has yet to officially recognize the full extent of the manufacturing flaws on recent DVD releases including Gundam Wing TV volume 5 and the movie, Don’t Leave Me Alone Daisy and Outlaw Star volume 2, Bandai is apparently taking steps to see that such replication errors don’t occur again by switching to a different DVD manufacturer. Copies of Gundam Wing TV DVD 6 and current copies of Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz pressed by Future Media are already filtering into the market, and these copies seem to exhibit none of the freezing, or non-loading problems of previous pressings.<\/p>\n

New pressings of these discs can be identified by the copyright name “Future Media” printed on the center ring of the DVDs. Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to identify the new pressings discs from the exterior packaging alone.<\/p>\n
