The &#8220;director&#8217;s edition&#8221; home video release will feature entirely new art &#038; character designs. The current series of three-minute anime episodes based on Yuka Santoh&#8217;s gag manga is animated by studios Dream Creation and Hotline with character designs by Death Note &#038; Mawaru Penguindrum key animator Daisuke Kusakari. The show has been widely criticized for having &#8220;amateurish-looking&#8221; art design.<\/p>\n<p><i>Part of me is fascinated by and very curious about this announcement while part of me is disappointed that fans don&#8217;t just accept the show the way it is.
