Beginning in 2011, the Anime Mirai program collaborated with the Japan Animation Creators Association to distribute money provided by the Japanese government&#8217;s Agency for Cultural Affairs to selected anime production studios that would produce short films as a means of providing hands-on training for novice professional animators. The third annual selection of shorts includes Gonzo&#8217;s <i>Ryo<\/i>, ZEXCS&#8217;s <i>Aruvu Rezuru: Kikai Jikake no Yousei-tachi<\/i>, Trigger&#8217;s <i>Little Witch Academia<\/i>, and MADHOUSE&#8217;s <i>Death Billiards<\/i>.
