The regular edition game will come on a single Playstation 2 DVD-ROM.  The more expensive &#8220;high visual and high audio,&#8221; as Square describes it, special edition version will spread the game over 2 DVD-ROM discs, most likely to allow for anamorphic HDTV compatibility and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ps2.ign.com\/news\/30637.html\" target=\"_blank\">IGN PS2<\/a> has confirmed that Final Fantasy games 7-9 will be remastered with new graphics and sound upgrades and other new features and will be released on DVD format as separate titles for the Playstation 2.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>According to Gamers.com, Final Fantasy X will be released in Japan this July in a regular and special edition version.
