Factory has confirmed plans to release an &#8220;abridged version&#8221; of the 1976 44-episode <a href=\"http:\/\/www.toei-anim.co.jp\/lineup\/tv\/gaiking2\/\" target=\"_blank\">Daiku Maryu Gaiking<\/a> (Great Sky Dragon Gaiking) anime television series.  The two-DVD &#8220;Gaiking: The Collection&#8221; set will be released on January 15, 2013.
