The film will initially get a theatrical screening at the Nuart Theater in Los Angeles from June 26 \u2013 July 3, followed by nationwide limited theatrical screening and a DVD &#038; BD release.<\/p>\n<p>Creator Makoto Shinkai burst onto the anime scene with highly his highly acclaimed short film Voices of a Distant Star, and continued to garner attention with his Place Promised in Our Early Days &#038; 5 Centimeters Per Second features.
