Director Osamu Minorikawa is mounting a live-action film adaptation of Miri Masuda’s best-selling four-koma josei<\/i> slice-of-life manga Suu-chan under the title “Suu-chan Mai-chan Sawako-chan.” Kou Shibasaki, Yoko Maki, and Shinobu Terajima will play three women who deal with their anxieties about love and work. The movie is tentatively scheduled for release next year.<\/p>\n
