The theatrical release of Laputa (or “Castle in the Sky” as Disney calls it) in the US may be seen as “difficult,” so the film may receive the direct to video treatment Kiki’s Delivery Service received. It will be released on DVD in Japan this June.<\/p>\n

Nausicaa will be theatrically released in Korea on December 16th. This is the first time that a Ghibli film will screen in Korean theaters. My Neighbor the Yamadas will most likely premier in French theaters next spring.<\/p>\n

In Japan, a 30 second trailer for the next Ghibli film, Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi will be shown in Toho theaters starting December 16th.<\/p>\n
