Osamu Tezuka directed the 1981 Fantastic Adventures of Unico film adapted from his own manga. Moribi Murano directed the 1983 sequel Unico: To The Magic Island. Both films have previously been broadcast on American television and been released on domestic videotape in English dubbed versions. A distributor named &#8220;New Galaxy Anime&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.animenation.net\/blog\/2007\/10\/25\/new-anime-distributor-announces-first-title\/\" target=\"_blank\">announced<\/a> its acquisition of the first Unico movie in October 2007 but never released the title.
