{"id":2576,"date":"2000-10-26T10:38:00","date_gmt":"2000-10-26T14:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.animenation.net\/blog\/2000\/10\/26\/anime-a-go-go-festival\/"},"modified":"2000-10-26T10:38:00","modified_gmt":"2000-10-26T14:38:00","slug":"anime-a-go-go-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.animenation.net\/blog\/anime-a-go-go-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"Anime A-Go-Go Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The UCLA Film &amp; Television Archives will be sponsoring a special anime film festival titled Anime A-Go-Go Today, October 26th, Tuesday the 31st, and Saturday November 4th at the UCLA James Bridges Theater.<\/p>\n<p>Tonight will be screenings of Jubei-chan: Secret of Lovely Eyepatch episode 3 and the Utena movie.<\/p>\n<p>On Halloween, Urban Vision will sponsor a premier screening of the new Vampire Hunter D film, followed by an untranslated 35mm print of Mamoru Oshii&#8217;s classic Angel&#8217;s Egg.<\/p>\n<p>November 4th will see the American premiers of the subtitled versions of Angel Links episode 1 and Mobile Suit Gundam: MS 08th Team OAVs 1-3, and presentations of Tenamonya Voyagers OAV 1 and Cowboy Bebop episode 5.<\/p>\n<p>Free copies of the Vampire Hunter D Special Edition DVD (the original movie) will be given out as prizes at the Vampire Hunter D new movie screening!<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t miss out on these fantastic films! Tickets will only go on sale the day of the screening, approximately one hour prior to showtime.
