Zeitgeist Films<\/a> has scheduled a December 7 release for its Franz Kafka\u2019s A Country Doctor & Other Fantastic Films<\/a> DVD featuring 13 short independent anime from acclaimed animator\/director Koji Yamamura. The DVD will include Yamamura’s Oscar nominated 2002 short Mt. Head (Atama-yama).<\/p>\n

This should be a “must own” DVD for any animation fan that respects anime as something more than toy commercials and fan service.<\/i><\/p>\n
