It looks like the deal fell through. Cinescape.com and CartoonResearch.com are reporting that Nickelodeon and Paramount have dropped Jeff Smith&#8217;s highly anticipated animated Bone movie. According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldfamouscomics.com\/boards\/boneville\/?read=3895\" target=\"_blank\">Boneville.com&#8217;s message board<\/a> the other side of the story is &#8220;&#8216;The BONE movie option *did* run out and was not renewed. However, it wasn&#8217;t because Nickelodeon and Paramount dropped the option. Jeff did. Nickelodeon still wants the movie option, but Jeff felt things weren&#8217;t going well in terms of how quickly it was coming along (which it wasn&#8217;t) and the changes that were being made to his and writing partner Dan Root&#8217;s script. When the option ran out.
