I really like the series and would love to buy it.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>Answer:<\/strong><br \/>\nShoujo Sato&#8217;s High School of the Dead manga series hasn&#8217;t been licensed for official English language publication yet, but it does seem like an ideal candidate for future acquisition. The manga&#8217;s provocative and stylistic artwork is striking and particularly appealing to American readers. The manga&#8217;s zombie apocalypse story may, in fact, be more familiar and immediately adopted in America than in its native Japan. And the development of an upcoming anime TV series adaptation from Madhouse will certain boost the original manga&#8217;s profile and international demand. Considering that stylistically similar manga series including Tenjho Tenge and Gantz have been fairly successful in America, I can only presume that High School of the Dead is candidate for similar reception and treatment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Question: Will High School of the Dead manga be released in the US?
