\nAugust 3 – Capcom vs SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 (Capcom)<\/p>\n
Capcom has reported record earnings for their last fiscal year with sales up by 34% thanks to their smash hit survival horror series. Bio-Hazard 3 sold 3.52 million copies, Dino Crisis sold 1.55 million, Bio-Hazard Code Veronica sold 730,000 copies and Bio-Hazard 2 for N64 sold 460,000 copies worldwide. Despite these profits, Capcom’s arcade department reported a loss of 2,000,000,000 yen due to the unpopular arcade game Spawn: In the Demon’s Hand.<\/p>\n
Konami has stated that Silent Hill 2 will be a PlayStation 2 title and have an approximate release date of fall 2001.<\/p>\n
