TV Asahi has announced<\/a> a live action TV drama adaptation of the ongoing 2007 drama manga My Girl, by Voice of a Distant Star manga artist “Sahara Mizu.” 26 year old Masaki Aiba, member of the pop group Arashi, will star as 23 year old Masamune Kazama, a young man who learns that his high school girlfriend has passed away, leaving him to raise a daughter he didn’t know he had. The drama will premiere in October.<\/p>\n

“Sahara Mizu” is the name boy-love manga creator Yumeka Sumomo (Same Cell Organism) uses to publish her seinen manga.<\/p>\n
