ICv2 has revealed its rankings of the top 10 most popular anime<\/a> and top 25 manga<\/a> titles in America during September, October, and early November 2008. The ICv2 rankings are based on sales volume, as determined by interviews with retailers, distributors, and manufacturers.<\/p>\n

These lists confirm an interesting separation in audience demographics. Apart from Pokemon, all of America’s best selling anime titles are clearly targeted at a teen and young adult male audience.
