Reportedly the January 2009 issue of Newtype Magazine, which goes on sale in Japan on December 10th, will include confirmation that kakifly’s 4 panel comedy manga series K-ON! (pronounced “kei on”) will be adapted into an anime television series. The story about four high school girls that try to sustain their school’s popular music club despite being unable to read music or play instruments has been serialized in Manga Time Kirara magazine since 2007.<\/p>\n

Seems rather reminiscent of Manabi Straight.<\/i><\/p>\n
