The “obi” advertising wrap found on the latest volume of the “Junai Cosmetic Comic: Bihada Ichizoku<\/a>” (Pure Love Cosmetic Comic: Beautiful Skin Family) manga series announces that the story will be adapted into an anime television series.<\/p>\n


\nThe Bihada Ichizoku concept was created by cosmetics company Love Labo<\/a> and Bandai as a promotional tool for Love Labo’s line of Bihada Ichizoku cosmetics. The concept debuted as advertising imagery and developed into a manga story about an annual “World Beautiful-Skin Competition.” The Bihada Ichizoku manga series debuted in November 2007 as a bonus premium with packages of beauty masks. The first beauty mask skin care product with bonus manga volume sold 120,000 copies.<\/p>\n
